this hostel is by far the best I’ve stayed at so far in NZ, even for a 52 year old!! Meg the manager was amazing – so friendly and helpful, loves his job and it shows. The set up is great, so much to do on the site itself that you’re torn whether to stay on the grounds for a chill out day or go into the national park. aao my advice would be to book yourself in for a few days. the national park is just gorgeous and there’s a cafe (pub!) just at the end or start 😊👌
